But I found this very amusing, in a completely sick way. Enjoy!

Went to see Return of the King again last night in the Dom. Small cinema full of LotR virgins, from the sound effects. Ajay brought red wine and salted nuts, because it was my Christmas treat (we'd neither of us had a mutually free evening to do it earlier).

*sigh* It really, really is that good. ( Possible spoilers, though for God's sake why haven't you gone by now? )

12:17 am: 2003 - the year so far
The good: Fireworks! On Calton Hill! Big flashy fireworks. I love fireworks.
The bad: Netscape 7.0, which I've been running in parallel with my ancient Netscape 4.5, has crashed. I spent the last 3 hours of 2002 downloading 7.1, and that's crashed, too. Bugger. Am currently using Internet Explorer, which I loathe.
The good: a homemade chocolate-walnut cookie.
The bad: still feeling coldy and miserable and didn't do ANY of the things I planned for the last few days of 2002 thanks to feeling sneezy, coldy, throaty, and miserable.
The good: My cats continue cute, Legolas is still the prettiest, Aragorn is still not king, and Sam will kill him if he tries anything.
