10:30 pm: Tonight's Doctor Who, mostly (episode: Utopia)
Today I was thinking that if it was sunny I would go out.

But it was rainy and blowy all day long, so I stayed in, mostly (I did go to the nearest supermarket for washing-up liquid, and it was actually - for a rainy, windy day - a nice day: I was annoyed that my throat was gunged up and I was coughing persistently and could not enjoy it.

I went home, and did the washing-up, and mostly then lay on the sofa and watched TV: Cadfael (two of my favourite stories: "A Morbid Taste For Bones" and "The Virgin in the Ice") and later on, the latest episode of Doctor Who and the first episode of the new series, Jekyll.

I recommend Jekyll, very much: it's a bloody good twist on the Stevenson story, which I love anyway - and James Nesbitt is really excellent as Doctor Jackman and his counterpart.

And I discovered - and leapt up to switch off the TV - that the BBC has taken to doing spoilers at the end of all their series, not just Dr Who. Oh curse and damn them. Why must those of us who do not care for spoilers have to switch off the TV to avoid them and miss all the credits?

But the Doctor... ( spoilers, spoilers, everywhere )
