07:48 pm: FWIW - and not because I think you're at all interested
I find that a 2-kilo bag of Hill's Science Diet catfood lasts my two cats just under 4 weeks. I guess that means they're eating it at about 35g a day. They also get wet food, daily. Bob is looking very well on it: Wolf is blooming.

I love Hill's Science Plan, I always gave it to my cats and they love it and you don't have to give them much at all, and it is neat and easier than everything else. Yes.

I don't think I love Hill's Science Plan. But I do feel a mature and steady affection for it. It's good stuff. Also, my cats eat it. Wolf is enormous.

If Hills were less expensive, all our cats would get it. As it is, since Hills make a very nice elder-cat-anti-hairball sort, that's what the eldest cat gets.

The others don't get the very cheapest, though - we tried that, and NOT EVEN the big boy would finish the stuff. This is the one that, having managed to get into the supply of the better quality stuff, ate himself sick at least 4 times, and still was trying to eat... but this other stuff, he would pick at it listlessly and leave half a portion.

(Fortunately, we only started with a very small amount of the hyper-cheep, so there wasn't that much to throw away. We figured if the cats were that off it, they might have had a good reason.)

It is expensive, but I was very worried about how skinny Bob was after her operation.
