Ben Venue similarly straddles Katrine and bites the back of her neck, and she growls but allows it. Which is weird to me; he is clearly the dominant cat, but she could beat the crap out of him if she wanted to.

Cally remained dominant cat to Gallus to the end of her life, even though Gallus probably could have beaten Cally up by the time Gallus got to her full weight - and certainly in the last couple of years I had Cally, when she was so thin and fragile.
