I'm writing this on 10th October: it's been nearly four months since I declined to change my icon to suit LJ Abuse, and my account was suspended. Indeed, counting from 6/6/6, it's been over four months since I moved to GJ.

So I think it's probably time to move on, and accept that I'm just most likely never going back to LiveJournal: Six Apart won, I lost, life's tough. I miss my friends-list on LiveJournal enormously, but trying to maintain it unilaterally on GJ isn't working.

Insofar as I have a friending policy, it's this. I friend people whose journals I like to read, and I hope people friend me for the same reason. I think people should friend and unfriend without needing to ask or apologise.

If you'd like me to friend you, comment here for me to friend you back and I most likely will. (My exceptions to this rule are usually people who have nothing in their own journal and whom I do not know. So if you were on my friends-list on livejournal, and created a greatestjournal account just to stay in touch with people over here, I'll certainly friend you back - but do mention what your username was on livejournal, if it's not the same as the username you're using here!)

It was going to be bread day today--I bought some organic whole-wheat flour a little while ago, and it turns out not to be very good for puris, rolls or pancakes so I thought I'd try some bread with it rather than just throw it out or wait for it to go totally bad. I went back to your GJ to see if I could find your bread recipe, but none of the titles immediately jumped out at me--if it's not too much trouble, would you be willing to send me the link, or the recipe?

Our Adult Content policy has been changed to emphasize that content which is flagged as containing explicit adult content does not mean it is in violation of our Terms of Service, and will not result in other actions being taken against users who post it. The process for reporting adult content has also changed so that the system only handles reports of adult content; reports of violations of our policies should be reported as outlined here.

We have also stated within the policy that non-graphic, non-sexualized nudity is not considered explicit adult content. This includes things such as an image of a mother breastfeeding their child, or a non-sexualized work of art such as the Statue of David. We have also extended this to our policy on default userpics; non-graphic, non-sexualized nudity is no longer considered a violation of our default userpic policy.
